FKJ, French Kiwi Juice, is the moniker of Parisian electronic artist Vincent Fenton, who is set to bring his impressively smooth beats to London for his biggest UK headline show to date.
Music has been part of Fenton's life since he was young, composing his first songs at 13 then recording them at 14 in his uncle's studio. A man of many talents, Fenton is a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, bass, saxophone, piano among others, helping him to create his unique sound with just about any instrument he chooses.
When describing the FKJ sound, the former cinema sound engineer, says it's a mix of hip-hop and funk, with jazz and soul influences. All this and more can be heard across his expansive debut album French Kiwi Juice which came out earlier this year. Standouts include Lying Together and the album is well worth a listen from start to finish as album closer Why Are There Boundaries is magic.
