MICHAEL HEAD AND THE RED ELASTIC BAND
Michael Head is a legend; the leader of some finest Liverpudlian acts, his legacy is incomparable. The songsmith, who is alumni of the great Shack, The Pale Fountains and The Strands, returns to the stage with The Red Elastic Band to play their 2017 album, Adios Senor Pussycat, which was Head's first release in 11 years. Mojo said the record was full of "heart swelling hymns, irrepressible shanties, imaginatively deployed strings and brass, affectionate songs of booze-love", an undeniable return for Michael Head who has found perfect partnerships in The Red Elastic Band.
They take the stage at Islington Assembly Hall on 5th May, don't miss out on a show of sing-a-longs and a crowd of smiles.
