Featuring frontman Tim Commerford of Rage Against The Machine, Mathias Wakrat and Laurent Grangeon, Wakrat are taking over Black Heart Camden in aid of Shelter.
The Californian trio deliver an almighty rage with Commerford laying vocals and bass over a tight mix of punchy, rhythmic and dynamic punk rock. Wakrat's heavily political and social commentary comes armed with pounding drums and snarling hooks like recent single Knucklehead.
In 2010, Rage Against the Machine donated all proceeds to Shelter when Killing In The Name became a Christmas no. 1 in protest, upsetting X Factor’s monopoly. Now, Wakrat are supporting the charity with this extra special gig.
It doesn’t get any more rock and roll than debuting at LA’s Viper Room and after supporting Royal Blood, Wakrat will bring their riotous noise to the capital on July 26th.
Presented by Earache Records.
This is an 18+ event.
