Awarded “The Biggest Cult Band In The UK" title, the Wakefield trio ruptured the status quo of guitar bands, rising with the likes of The Libertines. The Von Trapp family meets rock, the band is the accumulation of twin brothers Gary and Ryan and younger brother Ross. Their affected indie slant, coupled with Ryan Jarman’s rasping hooks, nailed a gritty DIY sound that still refuses to mellow.
It’s been fifteen years since they initially crashed onto the scene with crash hits met with meticulously crafted yet frayed hooks. Their latest release, LP 24-7 Rock Star sees them return rigorously from a lull in hook heaven. Making up for lost time, the record is packed with punch from songs roots spanning from 2011-2016.
An album that challenges their peak works, the anthemic Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever, don’t miss the live low down.
