STALLS STANDING TICKET. SOLD OUT

After announcing his retirement earlier this year, the hip hop icon announces an unmissable show at Kentish Town's O2 Forum.

Exploding into public consciousness in Blackstar with Talib Kweli, Yasiin Bey — known to many as Mos Def — debuted Black On Both Sides a year later, rocketing the New York rapper to astronomical heights. His woozy verses tinged with a soulful lilt and bolstered with stories of love and politics ensure the album is upheld as as one of the genre's greatest ever.

Alongside tracks from A New Danger and The Ecstatic, Bey will perform some of his most anthemic hits joined by the unrivalled Hypnotic Brass Band. The seven sons of the legendary jazz trumpeter Phil Cohran have been called upon by Prince, The Family Stone, Ghostface Killah, Damon Albarn and now their feverish haze of jazz and hip hop will adorn Bey's creations.

This will be a truly a once-in-a-lifetime gig to share with the grandkids. The hip hop show of the year? MOS DEFinitely.

Ticket price includes a £1 restoration fee.
