"Fiercely beautiful songs of love and disappointment", now there's a relatable review. Miles Mosley dropped Uprising LP this year and it's possibly the most true to name record to have dropped all year.
He attacks each and every song, pushing jazz to new extremes. Keys, the tightest drum rolls, a full orchestra, a raspy but stoic vocal cut, bass riffs and an electric peddle all get used and abused to create a mad piece of art. Listen and try not to press + on Spotify. Impossible.
An absolutely must see live act, you know what to do.
