Coming up in the late 2000s noise scene of Montreal, electronic noise producer Airick Woodhead began his solo project Doldrums in 2010. By melding different aspects of electronic sequencing and noisy sample based sounds with hypnotic pop structures, he created a sound cuttingly exclusive to him and quickly emerged with an array of tracks, 7" singles, remixes, and even a VHS collection of videos.
Doldrums released recent full length E s c on June 30th which was mixed by Matthew Otto. E s c also features collaborations with Petra Glynt and Tobias Rochman of Peleda.
Don't miss Doldrums drum down their live sound this October.
